July, 2019 Meeting
For our July meeting we are demonstrating the new Usher Audio TD-10 DMD Loudspeakers featuring Usher Audio's proprietary diamond tweeter and introducing the new diamond midrange. Usher Audio has been at the leading edge with diamond loudspeaker technology. Our thanks to our member Juan Ayllon and USA Distributor Katli Audio for arranging to have this unique new speaker made available for us to audition. Also, thanks to Toska Audio of Highland Park and owner Pete Mulligan for bringing the speakers to the meeting. Toska Audio will have the speakers on display at their store a few weeks after the meeting.. Our member Eric Krupp of Gudebrod Audio will be demonstrating his latest version of his 3T12V Tube Line Preamplifier and 120/3 AC Purifiers. Eric presented the preamp at our February 2018 meeting to positive feedback and has made further improvements. The AC purifiers are being demonstrated for the first time. The system set up will be as follows: Gudebrod Audio 3T12V Tube Preamplifier Mytek stereo 192-DS DAC Pioneer DVD-V 7400 player (as transport) Tube amp provided by Quintessence Audio All interconnects and speaker leads from Reality cables Be sure to bring your favorite music on CD. Plan to be there on Sunday, 7/14 for some great listening.
