FEBRUARY MEETING-SOTA TURNABLES

This time Christan will be bringing a new high-end direct drive turntable from Sota, the Orion. Direct drive is a first for SOTA and we are getting the opportunity to hear it even before the presentation at the upcoming AXPONA or shown on the Sota website. There will also be a Sota Quasar turntable to listen to. Christan is also bringing the highly regarded Doshi tube electronics and the speakers are the Usher UA-50 (50th anniversary model). Sota Turntables has a rich history with audiophiles, beginning manufacturing turntables in 1979. Donna Bodinet has run Sota Turntables for many years. Sota Sound Inventions LLC was established in January 2018 with Donna partnering up with Christan Griego of Griego Sound Inventions LLC. By partnering up with GSI, Sota now has a full machine shop and wood shop to continue on the next generation of State Of The Art Turntables.
