The Arlington Heights Historical Society (pictured Below) is located in the northern part of downtown Arlington Heights on W. Fremont St., just west of the Arlington Heights Public Library. Please follow the walkway along the right side of the building
all the way to the end. The
side entrance for the Arlington Room will be on your left.
You can get driving, walking or public transit directions from the detailed zoomable map on the right. Click the Directions icon to the right of the address on the adjoining map. There is free parking directly across the street on the south side of Fremont Street.

Metra trains (Northwest Line, between Harvard and the Madison St. station downtown) run every two hours on Sunday.
CTA 'L' trains are available to connect with Pace buses to Des Plaines. The following are the only buses which run through Des Plaines on Sunday (about every half hour):
The Blue (O'Hare) Line connects to Pace bus Route 209 (Golf/Woodfield) at Harlem Ave.
The Purple (Evanston) Line connects to Pace Bus Route 250 (Dempster) at Davis St. in Evanston.
