The Arlington Heights Historical Society (pictured above) is located in the northern part of downtown Arlington Heights on
W. Fremont St., just west of the Arlington Heights Public Library. Please follow the walkway along the right side of
the building to the side entrance between the Dunton Room and Arlington Room.

How to Get There
From Route I-90
Exit Arlington Heights Rd North. Take Arlington Heights Rd through downtown Arlington Heights and past Northwest Highway
(Route 14). The second light after Northwest Highway is Euclid Avenue. Turn left and head west. The third intersection will
be N. Vail Ave. The Arlington Heights Memorial Library will be at this corner. Turn left and go one block south to W. Fremont.
Instead of turning right on W. Fremont. pull ahead and park in the lot just south of Fremont. The main historical society
museum building is at 110-112 W. Fremont.
From Route 53
Exit Euclid Ave. East exit. Take Euclid Ave. east, past Arlington Heights International Racecourse, past Northwest Highway
(Route 14) to N. Vail Ave. N. Vail is the fourth street past Northwest Highway. The Arlington Heights Memorial Library will
be at this corner. Turn right and go one block south to W. Fremont. Instead of turning right on W. Fremont, pull ahead and
park in the lot just south of Fremont. The main historical society museum building is at 110-112 W. Fremont.
From Route 14
Take Route 14 into Arlington Heights. At Vail Ave. intersection (Citgo gas station) turn and head north on Vail for not quite
three blocks, and park in the lot on your left just south of Fremont. The main historical society museum building is at
110-112 W. Fremont.

Sunday (about every half hour):

Line connects to Pace bus Route 209 (Golf/Woodfield) at Harlem Ave.
The
Purple
(Evanston) Line connects to Pace Bus Route 250 (Dempster) at Davis St.
in Evanston.
